Pre-K through 5th grade children are invited to embark on an extraordinary adventure at Kenyon Anthropology Department's Archaeology Day on Saturday, May 3.

While this experience is best-suited for pre-k through 5th grade, all ages are welcome to enjoy. Bring the whole family to the event at the Church of the Holy Spirit Lawn, 102 College Park St., Gambier, OH 43022 to explore, learn, and have fun for 2 hours starting at 12 noon. Should the weather take a rainy turn, the fun will keep going at the backup location: Oden Hall 130, 202 N. College Road, Gambier, OH 43022.

Attendees of this free event can look forward to a a day packed with engaging activities. From uncovering hidden treasures, to interactive hands-on games that combine education with fun, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. 

Participants can also have a glimpse into Gambier's history through real artifacts. Additionally, the kids can also showcase their problem-solving through the pottery puzzles. 

On top of these different adventures is the chance to win different prizes — truly making it more exciting to come to this one-day archaeology event at Kenyon.
