Explore the fascinating world of frogs at the Brown Family Environmental Center (BFEC) with the latest edition of Family Nature Quest: Fascinating Frogs on Saturday, May 3. The event will start at 10:30 in the morning.

This exciting nature event invites families to dive into the incredible lives of frogs—how they catch their prey, adapt to seasonal changes, and thrive in their watery habitats.

"Have you ever wondered how frogs can jump so high and catch fast-moving insects? Special adaptations allow them to keep up with their agile prey," the event announcement reads. "Some species can even survive being frozen solid in the winter! To discover how frogs catch their prey, survive seasonal changes, and more, join us at the BFEC for a fun morning of pond play."

This event is an exciting opportunity to connect with nature while learning something new.

The Brown Family Environmental Center was established in 1995 as the Kenyon Center for Environmental Study and renamed in 1999 in honor of Robert Bowen Brown and his family, following a generous gift from the Minigowin Foundation. Spanning 700 acres in Ohio’s Kokosing River Valley, BFEC is dedicated to conserving natural diversity while providing educational and research opportunities for all ages.
