The community is invited to the Senior Art Exhibition, showcasing artwork from senior students of Mount Vernon High School. This exhibition will be held at the MVNU Schnormeier Gallery in the Buchwald Center, near the well-known dog fountain.
The artwork will be on display from May 5 to May 14, with gallery hours from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A special reception will be held on May 9 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, offering an opportunity to meet the student artists, discuss their creative processes, and enjoy complimentary cookies and punch.
The featured artists include Auguste Beutel, Hannah Bird, Ileana Chavez, Rebecca Davis, Grace Gentry, Quinn Hardy, Anthony Liberati, Lily Schoenfeld, Yusuf Takrouri, and Emma Wares. The Art Department hopes for a strong community presence at the event, stating, "We would be honored by your presence—your support means the world to our students!"
