The Northridge Vikings softball team delivered a dominant performance this past week, securing three decisive victories, including a combined no-hitter against Franklin Heights.

According to reports, on March 25, the Vikings overpowered Tree of Life with a 22-12 victory. Josie Van Fossen led the charge, going 4-for-6 with three runs, three RBIs (runs batted in), and a stolen base. Camryn Moore contributed three RBIs, while Kadance Adkins added three runs, two RBIs, and a stolen base, also earning the win in the circle.

The Vikings returned to action on March 29 with a doubleheader sweep against Franklin Heights. In Game 1, Northridge secured a 12-1 victory, highlighted by a combined no-hitter from Ellie Reese (four innings) and Adkins (one inning). Offensively, Kaitlyn Angus went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, while Van Fossen added a triple and a run scored.

In Game 2, Northridge exploded for a 24-6 win. Moore powered the offense with a home run, four runs scored, and three RBIs. Adkins had a standout game, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs, and three RBIs. Reese added three hits, including a double and two runs.

The Vikings’ offensive firepower and strong pitching continue to fuel their early-season success.
