Northridge Local Schools announced that its Board of Education will hold a special meeting on March 20, 2025. The announcement was made in a press release.

According to the Northridge Local School District, Britt Lewis, Treasurer/CFO of the Northridge Local School District Board of Education, gave public notice in accordance with R.C. 3313.16 and R.C. 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code of a special meeting held on March 20, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the District Office in Johnstown, Ohio. The meeting focused on planning the superintendent search process and establishing a timeline in collaboration with K12 Consulting, Inc., the board-approved consulting firm.

The public was invited to attend, with accommodations available for individuals with disabilities upon request. Those unable to attend in person had the option to watch the meeting via live stream on the District’s YouTube channel, accessible through the District’s website under the "Board of Education" section, where a recording remains available for later viewing.
The Northridge Local Schools Board of Education oversees district operations and policies, meeting monthly on the third Tuesday at 6:30 PM in the District Office. Meeting recordings and minutes are available online and in the office, which is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The board includes President Evelyn Vance, Vice President Jeffrey Schrock, and members Jayma Bammerlin, Kate Creager, and Doug Hart.

The Northridge Local School District serves around 1,200 students across a consolidated campus that includes the district office, high school, middle school, and a newly built elementary school. A new athletic stadium is set to open in fall 2024. Spanning 137 square miles, the district primarily lies in Licking County but also extends into Knox and Delaware Counties. Located in a rural setting with minimal housing developments, the community maintains a small-town atmosphere while being near major cities like Columbus.
