A free seminar titled "Boating for Beginners" is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Harbor Hills Country Club in Hebron, Ohio. The event is designed for individuals aged 16 and above who are interested in learning about boating. Advance registration is required as the class size is limited to 80 participants.
The course will cover various aspects of boating, including safety procedures, necessary licenses, equipment requirements, docking techniques, navigation rules, boat maintenance, and guidance on purchasing a boat. The seminar aims to provide essential information for those curious about operating or buying a boat.
Buckeye Lake Boater Training (BLBT) hosts the event with contributions from the ODNR/Ohio Division of Watercraft, US Coast Guard Auxiliary, and Marine Performance Solutions.
