Ohio University has announced the Fall 2024 Dean's List, continuing its tradition of recognizing academic excellence alongside the President's and Provost's Lists each semester. The announcement was made on March 4, 2025, via a press release through Merit Pages.
According to Merit Pages, the students named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2024 semester include Stella Bainbridge, Kyle Bogdue, Somi Bright, Rylee Bryant, Kate Burkhart, Kristen Caudill, Reed Compton, Sarah Cooper, Sydni Cunningham, Paige Currier, Jeffrey Davis, Jobin Harney, Olivea Joiner, Jacob Leber, Sidney Lyons, Ava Maddux, Ella Neighborgall, Lucy Ogle, Lora Ruehrmund, Kristen Ryan, Drew Santo, Katlyn Schaeferle, Kyle Schmidt, Travis Thomas, Tim Wheeler, Ethan Whittaker, Caitlin Workman and Meghan Yeagle. All these students are from Ohio.
The Dean’s List is compiled at the end of each semester and includes undergraduate students whose Grade Point Average (GPA) for the semester ranges from 3.5 to 3.999. A minimum of 12 credit hours attempted for letter grades is required to calculate the GPA. Alternatively, students who have earned 12 hours with no GPA (non-letter grade courses) and a GPA of at least 3.5 for letter-grade courses qualify if they were previously on the Dean's or President’s List.
Kathy Fahl serves as the Dean of Students in the Office of the Dean of Students. She advocates for students and coordinates crisis responses while engaging with parents and families in support of the university's mission to foster intellectual and personal development, according to Ohio University.
