PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given by the Board of Trustees of Jefferson Township, Knox County, Ohio which will be accepting bids for approximately 6,600’ x 14’ chip and seal comprised of 20+/- new 300’-500’ application areas. Price should be quoted per gallon for MC3000 oil and must include stone application (quoting both #57 gravel and #57 limestone), sweeping, rolling, traffic control. Bituminous/ fuel price adjustments shall be EXCLUDED from this project and will not be considered. Bidder must be able to provide price guaranteed for the 2025 season. Project is to be completed by September 15, 2025. Bids must be received by 7:00 p.m., April 9, 2025 and will be opened that date during the regular business meeting. Bidder must have liability insurance with Jefferson Township listed as Additional Insured and Workers’ Compensation included with bid. Jefferson Township has the right to accept or reject any or all bids and accept the bid that is in the best interest of Jefferson Township. Sealed bids may be sent to Jefferson Township, Attn: Monica Severns Trustee, 20190 Nashville Road, Glenmont, Ohio 44628 or brought to the April 9th meeting by 7:00 p.m. with the envelope marked “chip/seal bid”.
