On Tuesday, March 4th, the Key Club at Mount Vernon High School will host a blood drive in the high school theater lobby. The event is organized in response to the urgent need for blood donations due to severe winter weather and wildfires that have resulted in thousands of uncollected donations.
The Red Cross is seeking eligible donors to help meet this critical need. Individuals over the age of 16 are encouraged to donate. However, those who are 16 years old must provide a parental consent form to participate. The entire donation process is expected to take about an hour.
Christine Keaton, MVHS Key Club Advisor, can be contacted for any questions regarding the event. Interested participants can sign up online through the provided link: [MVHS Blood Drive](https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/drive-results?zipSponsor=MVHS).
Attachments available for download include a Parental Consent Form for Blood Donation in both PDF and RTF formats.
