Dr. Emmanuel Melonakos, M.D., KCH | Knox County Hospital

Regular check-ups and examinations for children can aid in the early identification and treatment of common childhood illnesses, decreasing health risks and the likelihood of the spread of contagious diseases. During the rapid growth and development of a child, pediatric care offers guidance and support.

Knox Community Hosptial (KCH) has added Dr. Emmanuel Melonakos, M.D. to the Department of Primary Care - Pediatrics team. Melonakos received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and a master’s degree from Holy Cross and Boston College, with a concentration in Medical Ethics. He then went on to do his residency in pediatrics at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. 

Melonakos is excited to announce that he is now accepting new patients and is eager to provide compassionate, personalized care to families seeking a trusted healthcare partner for their child. With a commitment to understanding each patient’s unique needs, Melonakos strives to create a warm, welcoming environment where patients and their families can feel heard and supported in their journey to better health. Whether it's routine check-ups, preventative care, or addressing specific concerns, Melonakos looks forward to building long-term relationships with new patients and helping them achieve their wellness goals.

KCH pediatricians provide various services, including, but not limited to, check-ups and physicals, diagnosis and treatment of common pediatric illnesses, including asthma and ADHD, and weight management.
