Danville is the final Knox County team left standing in the OHSAA playoffs as they extended their postseason success on Friday against Notre Dame, beating the Titans 60-2, in dominating fashion. The Blue Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Five different players for Danville scored touchdowns on the night, including Aidan Burke(2), Cyren Wallace(2), Aston Spaulding(2), Josh Byers, and Chris Mosher.

Running back/wide receiver/defensive back, Cyren Wallace, went off for Danville, rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 55 receiving yards. Wallace also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception. Brycen Burke helped Wallace and the Devils defense as well, when he snagged his own interception in the game.

Danville quarterback Jacob Hackman had a great game, completing 50 percent of his 12 pass attempts for 161 yards, and a touchdown.

The Blue Devils were unstoppable on the ground, as they always are, and finished the game with 334 rushing yards. Burke displayed another dominating performance as part of it, and ran the ball five times for a whopping 135 yards, averaging 27 yards per carry.

Danville is now 10-2 on the season and is headed to the semi-final game in the region match-up. They will take on a tough opponent in Miller High, who also boasts a 10-2 record at 7:00 p.m. this Friday.
