As Americans, we hold sacred our most fundamental right... the right to vote and have our voices heard.

Free and fair elections are central to our democracy. Having served as an election worker and received the training that is required of all poll workers, I can attest to the strict practices put in place to ensure secure elections.

Despite the measures that safeguard our election processes, MAGA Republicans continue to make claims of election fraud. The former president’s legal team filed 60 lawsuits claiming election fraud in 2020. All of them were found invalid. Since 2020, Republicans have refused to certify election results at least 25 times.

The 2024 pre-election period has already seen dozens of lawsuits filed in 25 states trying to manipulate or change laws to, among other things, make it easier to challenge ballots and voter eligibility and to deny election certifications. Ohio Attorney General David Yost submitted last-minute changes to election laws to limit access to ballot drop boxes making it harder for the disabled to vote via absentee ballot.

Americans deserve better than extreme partisan and underhanded tactics designed to make it harder to vote or cast doubts on our election process.

Kamala Harris promises to protect and uphold the right to vote for all Americans. This November we can vote for Harris/Walz to preserve our democratic right to free, fair and secure elections.
