MVNU inducts scholars into the Ohio Delta Chapter of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society

Twenty-nine students at Mount Vernon Nazarene University were inducted into the Ohio Delta Chapter of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society, including these scholars. | MVNU

Mount Vernon Nazarene University inducted 29 scholars into the Ohio Delta Chapter of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society for the 2023-24 academic year, the university announced on Aug. 22.

According to a news release from Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU), membership is restricted to traditional undergraduate students who are of junior and senior standing or non-traditional undergraduate students in MVNU's Graduate and Professional Studies programs. Membership is by invitation only. A nominee must have been a full-time MVNU student for at least one academic year, completed half of the required graduation credits, and hold a 3.85 GPA or higher, including all coursework grades.

The news release stated that the inductees included Gabrielle J. Anzalone, Biology (Pre-medical); Brandon David Barkman, Accounting; Kaitlyn Clifford, Elementary Education/Elementary Intervention (P-5); Addison Crace, Elementary Education/Elementary Intervention (P-5); Madeline Critzer, Finance; Emily Driver, Elementary Education/Elementary Intervention (P-5); April Eickhoff, Elementary Education/Elementary Intervention (P-5); Warren Lee Fitzpatrick, Social Work.

Jacob Gessner, Psychology; Ellie Hagy, Middle Childhood Education (Social Studies and Language Arts); Macey Haines, Elementary Education/Elementary Intervention (P-5); Callie De-Ann Henry, Psychology; Emily Faith Howie, Biology (Pre-medical); Hunter Charles Keller, Bachelor of Science in Accounting; Erin King, Biology (Pre-medical); Shelly Rhea Mabrey, Social Work; Gavin Dale Mattix, Finance; Spencer J. Mills, Finance; Emma More also were inductees.

The news release further listed these students as inductees: Abigail Roberts, Elementary Education/Elementary Intervention (P-5); Jessica L. Robinson, Education; Caio Pedro Carrara Sabbadin, Exercise Science (Human Performance); Naudia N.
