Knox Community Hospital (KCH) was recently recognized as a winner of the 2024 Population Health Pioneer Awards, presented by CVS Accountable Care. Each year, healthcare organizations and provider partners are honored with these national awards for their exemplary work and innovative approaches in value-based care to improve the quality of care for their patients and community.

As a Community of the Year recipient, KCH is dedicated to improving and prioritizing the health of their Medicare beneficiaries and prioritizing preventative care solutions.

“We are honored to receive CVS Accountable Care’s Pioneer Award and to be publicly recognized among other leaders dedicated to population health care,” said Debbie Priest, BSN, RN, CCCTM, program director. “KCH leadership is very proud of the work of this team and the entire organization throughout this past year.”

The award was presented at the 2024 CVS Accountable Care Symposium, which was held in Nashville, TN from May 21-22.  For more information about the Pioneer Awards and this year’s award recipients, please visit the Awards website.
