Layla Azmoun has been on another level for the Madison Comprehensive Rams (13-5, 5-3), pitching a no-hitter against Ashland and a three-hit shutout against Perkins to start the week.
This made it eight straight wins for the Rams, who have had shutouts in four of the last five games. During the streak they have outscored opponents 37-9.
On April 29, Azmoun went all seven innings, allowing three hits and two walks, while striking out 12 to bear Perkins 3-0.
All of the Madison Comprehensive runs came in the third inning. With one out, Emily Nolan and Izzy Wamsley hit back-to-back singles to set the table for Kyleigh Reiter. Reiter then put them on the board with an RBI single, and Ashley Markley reached on an error that scored two runs.

The next day, on April 30, Azmoun had a no-hitter with 14 strikeouts, where she only allowed three walks in the 7-0 shutout win.
Madison Comprehensive started off the game with a 3-0 first inning. Reiter hit an RBI double, which was followed by a Markley two-run homer. In the second inning, Nolan singled and knocked in Kershner. Fast forward to the fourth inning, and a run scored on a Wamsley groundout. The Rams tacked on an insurance run in the fifth inning, when Emma Stankovich singled and drove in Reiter.
