Wanda Bowers, 89, of Wooster, died Friday, December 1, 2023 at her residence.
Wanda was born February 28, 1934 in Millersburg, OH to Elmer and Florence {Spring} Bretz.
She married Arthur M. Bowers on November 13, 1954. He died March 30, 1997.
She worked as a Secretary for Standard Oil for many years, Wanda enjoyed reading and watching westerns, especially John Wayne. She also loved caring for her cats and dogs.
Wanda was be deeply missed by her children Janet Elaine Kirby of FL, and David Bowers of Wooster; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and her dog Emmie.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband and brothers Don and Gene.
Friends may call Sunday December 10, 2023 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services was followed at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
