Jeanne {Moore} Bennett, 70, of Stow, died Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls.
Jeanne was born January 18, 1953 in Sandusky, Ohio to Ray B. and Dorothy Marie {Stauffer} Moore.
She received a Master of Arts from Kent State in Social Work.
She married Hugh C. Bennett on December 22, 1982. He died August 30, 2017.
Jeanne worked for Akron Children Services and was a teacher at Kent State. She enjoyed gardening, reading and was a member of the Akron Women’s Club.
Jeanne was be deeply missed by her son Don (Judy) Bennett; daughter-in-law Candy Bennett; grandchildren Zackery, Joshua, Anna, Vanessa, and Hugh; great-grandchildren Liam and Keegan.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, son Hugh.
Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville is assisting the family. Funeral services was be Friday at 12pm at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Decker officiating.
