On October 31, 2023, a deputy with the Knox County Sheriff's Office was requested to an address on Scott Lane in reference to an individual experiencing a mental health crisis. The individual was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and a report was completed for documentation.

On October 31, 2023 deputies were dispatched to a residence on Lakeview Heights Dr. in Howard, Ohio on an incident involving a suicidal female. Deputies arrived on scene and conducted an investigation. Subsequent to the investigation the female was charged with domestic violence and transported to the Knox County Jail and released into the custody of jail staff.
