Final Wellness Wednesday on November 8th | Ohio District 5 Area Agency On Aging

Ontario, OH – To prioritize the health and wellness of our community, the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc., in collaboration with Third Street Family Health Services, is happy to host “Wellness Wednesday.” The event will be at 2131 Park Avenue West, Hawkins Conference Center, in Ontario, on Wednesday, November 8th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This will be the final Wellness Wednesday of 2023. Individuals are encouraged to reach out to their providers, pharmacies, or public health departments for additional vaccine clinics or locations.

Wellness Wednesdays will share the importance of vaccinations and provide interactive classes emphasizing physical and mental wellness, such as exercise, nutrition, and self-care. By offering comprehensive resources and activities, the Agency hopes to inspire positive lifestyle changes and encourage individuals to prioritize their health and happiness.

The special guest for the November 8th Wellness Wednesday will be the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library. You can learn about their “Library of Things,” a collection of non-traditional library items that provide engaging experiences for people of all ages. Black Belt Pro Fitness will also be there to present a mini martial arts lesson.

Flu vaccinations will be available on November 8th.Your insurance card and photo I.D. are required. The flu vaccination will be given on a first come first serve basis.  RSVP’s will not be taken to reserve a time slot for the vaccine. Please be prepared for the potential of there being a wait time to receive the Flu vaccine.
