It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William K. Wyman, who left us on October 9, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 11, 1949, and his departure has left a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
William was a devoted member of various organizations that reflected his commitment to community and service. He was an active member of the AMVETS, Eagles. His dedication to these organizations exemplified his sense of duty, and he formed lifelong friendships while making meaningful contributions to his community.
In his earlier years, William proudly served his country as an E7 in the United States Army for 20 years. His dedication to the military was a testament to his unwavering commitment to duty and honor, and he left a lasting impact on those he served with.
Beyond his service, William was a man of many passions. He had a remarkable talent for woodworking, creating beautiful pieces that was serve as enduring testaments to his craftsmanship. Whether he was carving intricate designs or constructing intricate furniture, his work was a reflection of his dedication to perfection.
A true outdoorsman at heart, William found peace and tranquility in fishing. He would spend countless hours by the water's edge, casting lines, and sharing stories with friends and family. His love for Nascar was well-known, and he followed the races with enthusiasm and excitement, cheering on his favorite drivers with the same fervor he approached life.
He was a dedicated supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes, a passion that ran deep within his soul.
Yet, for all his interests and hobbies, nothing brought William more joy than spending time with his family. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that was forever be a part of his family's story.
William K. Wyman's life was a testament to the values of service, craftsmanship, and love. He was be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. In our hearts and memories, his spirit was live on, a beacon of inspiration for the values he held dear.
He was preceded in death by his father Whitney Wyman, his mother Anna white, his brother Bob Chambers, his daughter Shannon Wyman and latest two best friends Timothy Shrader and Phillip Elswick.
He was survived by his sisters Sandy Ellsworth and Patty Russell, his daughters Shauna Avery and Shasta Jones, Adopted daughter Krista Watson. Grandkids Sierra Wyman, Christian Wyman, Samantha Avery, Allison Jones, Andy Jones, Makayla Watson, Bryce Watson, and David Avery. Great Grandkids Adrian Salinas and Sophia Salinas. Son-in-law Elijah Jones and Justin Avery.
Visitation was be held on Thursday October 19th 11 to 1pm with the service to follow, at Snyder Funeral Homes-Dowds Chapel.
