Nauman leads Highland with 210 yards in 21-11 win over Clear Fork

Highland (5-4, 2-4) beat Clear Fork (1-8, 0-6) on Friday night 21-11 with Dane Nauman leading the charge with 210 yards and two touchdowns.

Highland led 7-0 on a Nauman touchdown run of seven yards, and a Malin Fichtner extra point. Kolton Stover then ran it in from three yards out to go up 14-0. In the second quarter Clear Fork got on the board with a field goal, and it was 14-3 at the half. Neither team scored in the third quarter, but then in the fourth quarter Nauman took off for 95 yards and a score. Fichtner knocked it through the uprights to go up 21-3. The Colts added eight points in the fourth quarter but the Fighting Scots held on for a 21-11 win.

Nauman carried the ball 14 times for 210 yards and two touchdowns. Stover was 5-for-12 for 29 yards and a pair of picks, but did damage on the ground with 14 carries for 60 yards and a score. Kort Sears had two catches for 11 yards in the win.

On defense, Gavin Wiggand had 11 tackles and Zach Church had nine tackles. Hayden Kline had an interception.

Highland has its final game of the regular season on Friday at home against Ontario with a 7 p.m. kickoff.
