On March 16, 2023, the Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) issued a Notice of Opportunity for Hearing to Mr. Goudy, mailed via certified mail on March 17, 2023 to his address of record listed above and on 4/25/23, 5/18/23 and 6/27/23 to alternate addresses. Said deliveries failed. The Notice states that OBN intends to consider disciplinary action against Mr. Goudy's nursing license based on his September 2020 and February 2022 guilty pleas to Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in the Mt. Vernon Municipal Court, which would constitute grounds for disciplinary action pursuant to ORC 4723.28(B)(5). Mr. Goudy is entitled to a hearing in this matter if it is requested within 30 days of the last date of publication of this notice. Mr. Goudy may appear at the hearing in person, by his attorney or by another representative permitted to practice before OBN, or he may present his position, arguments or contentions in writing.
