NOTICE BY PUBLICATION
Pursuant to the R.C. § 1715.39, Petitioners request publication of the prayer of the petition to be published in The Mount Vernon News for four consecutive weeks:
1. Petitioners Paul Troyer and Leonard Brown, (“the Petitioners”) are the duly appointed and acting Trustees of the Howard Christian Church, Inc., aka the Howard Church of Christ, aka the Disciple Church, and now known as the Howard Christian Church, Inc. located at 12440 Mary Street, Howard, Ohio 43028 (“Church”).
2. Presently, the Church owns the following parcels of real property, being described as follows:
Parcel 1:
Situate in the Village of Howard, County of Knox and State of Ohio and being a part of a tract of land adjoining Hurd and Israel’s Addition to the town of Howard, Ohio, and more particularly described as follows: Commencing at a point on the West line of East Street, 74 feet North from the Northwest corner of North Main Street and East Street in said addition, which point is 46 feet South from the West line of Lot No. 13 in Israel’s Addition to said town of Howard, Ohio; from said point beginning running North the West line of East Street, 46 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot No. 13 in Israel’s Addition; thence running West 120 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot No. 13 in Israel’s Addition; thence running South on a line with East side of East Alley in Hurd and Israel’s Addition produced, 46 feet; thence running East on a line parallel with and 46 feet from the South line of Lot No. 13 to the place of beginning; also the following particularly described as follows: Being all of Lot No. 13 and the East one-half of Lot No. 16 and a portion if the East one-half of Lot No. 15 as follows: Commencing at a point on the West side of East Alley produced, which point is 46 feet from the Northeast corner of said Lot No. 15 from said point of beginning running North on the West line of East Alley produced 46 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot Number 15; thence running West along the North line of said Lot No. 15 sixty (60) feet; thence running South on a line 60 feet from the East line of said Lot No. 15 and parallel with said East line 46 feet to a point; thence running East on a line parallel with the North line of said Lot No. 15 and 46 feet from said North line 60 feet to the place of beginning. The foregoing lots and parts of lots being in Israel’s Addition to the Village of Howard in said Knox County and State of Ohio

Parcel 2:
Situated in the Town of Howard, Township of Howard, Knox County, Ohio. Being the East half of Lot #14 and the East half of Lot #15 both in Israel’s Addition to the town of Howard being part of the lands of which the late W. T. Horn died seized excepting therefrom a strip 36 feet in width off the North side thereof formerly sold to J. D. McArtor.

Parcel 3:
The following described Real Estate situate in the County of Knox, in the State of Ohio, and in the Township of Howard and bounded and described as follows: Being sixty feet (60 ft.) off of the West end of Lots numbered (14) fourteen, (15) fifteen and (16) Sixteen in Israel’s Addition to the Town of Howard in said Knox County, Ohio, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point where the South line of James Street intersects the East line of Mary Street, which point is the North West corner of Lot Number (16) Sixteen; thence forward in an Easterly direction along the South line of James Street sixty feet; thence in a Southerly direction on a line parallel with and sixty feet from the East line of Mary Street to the North line of North Street; thence in a Westerly direction along the North line of North Street (60 ft.) sixty feet to a point where the North line of North Street intersects the East line of Mary Street, which point is the South West corner of Lot Number (14) Fourteen; thence in a Northerly direction along the East line of Mary Street to the point of beginning.
Known as Knox County Parcel Number 21-50028 (“Parcel 3”)
3.The Petitioners, on behalf of the Church body, desire to sell the Property at public auction to the highest bidder, and wind up the affairs of the Church.
4.The Petitioners state that the sale been approved by both the Trustees and membership of the Church.
5.The Petitioners request publication of the prayer of the petition to be published in The Mount Vernon for four consecutive weeks in accordance with $1715.39.
WHEREFORE, Petitioners request that the Court approve the proposed sale by public auction, the real property owned or held in the name of the Trustees of the Disciple Church, Howard Church of Christ, Trustees of the Howard Church of Christ, and Howard Christian Church, Inc. upon such terms as the Court deems reasonable.
If any person fails to answer or otherwise respond as permitted by the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure, judgment will be entered pursuant to said Petition.
