Third annual COTC town hall meeting at Knox campus: Intel, workforce growth and impacts

NEWARK – Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is holding a town hall meeting at its Knox campus, 236 S. Main St., Mount Vernon, on Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 3-4:30 p.m.

COTC President John M. Berry will provide a state-of-the-college address and share current information on Intel and COTC’s response to helping build a talent pipeline to support the anticipated 3,000-plus jobs needed in Ohio. Additionally, corresponding career opportunities in multiple industry sectors will be examined.

Through the annual town hall meetings, Berry maintains a purposeful and robust dialogue with the communities served by the college and provides first-hand information about the state of the college with a particular emphasis on initiatives at the campus.
