The Mount Vernon News needs to provide J.D. Davidson with either a remedial American Government class or a pink slip. His piece entitled “Election 2022: Ohio voters carry little power” displayed his utter misunderstanding of federalism and the compromise struck in the creation of the Senate and House of Representatives. The News should have sent that article back for a rewrite or relegated it to the “Opinion” page.
