To the Editor:
My name is Jocelyn Gilardi. I am writing in support of the Knox County DD levy. I have received many services from the county board over the years. From early intervention as a toddler to support services from my provider, I have relied on the county board for many things. I have vision and hearing difficulties and the board has allowed me to receive special assistance such as talking smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a CCTV and mobility training. I have also been able to attend conferences thanks to the help of the county board. Please join me in voting YES for this levy, as it will not raise your taxes. It will help me and many others like me in the future.
