Highland 3, Clear Fork 0
Highland remained undefeated and improved to 11-0 and 7-0 in MOAC play, with a sweep over visiting Clear Fork on Sept. 15 by scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-12.
The Scots got off to a quick start, then sputtered in the middle, but finished strong to stay undefeated in the MOAC.
In set one, Highland jumped out to a 9-2 lead and, with the help of eight Kameron Stover kills and three more by Larsen Terrill, won 25-16. In set two, the Lady Scots trailed 12-7 but outscored the Colts the rest of the way, 18-5. Stover had seven kills in the set, and Brooke Schott added three kills and two blocks.
In set three, the home team started out with five aces in its first 11 points (two each by Stover and Terrill and another by Camryn Miller) on the way to a 15-7 lead and didn't look back.
Stat sheet leaders included Kameron Stover with 18 kills and three aces; Brooke Schott with seven kills and three blocks; Larsen Terrill with six kills and 29 assists and Camryn Miller with 11 digs.
Cardington-Lincoln 3, Mount Gilead 0
Cardington-Lincoln upped its record to 9-3 and 6-0 in KMAC play with a straight-set romp over Mount Gilead, 25-16, 25-5, 25-13 on Sept. 15.
The loss dropped the Indians to 1-6 and 0-4 in conference play.
Audrey Brininger led the lady Pirates with 12 kills. Cadie Long was on fire from the service line with 10 aces and 31 serves in on 32 attempts. Long also had 12 digs, and Jadine Mills contributed four aces and 30 assists in the win.
Centerburg 3, Fredericktown 1
Centerburg increased its record to 9-2, 5-1 in KMAC play, with a 3-1 win over Fredericktown (8-2, 3-2) by scores of 25-17, 25-22, 17-25, 25-22 on Sept. 15
Stella Weisbrod led the Lady Trojans with 19 kills and 20 digs, and Amani Marshall added 15 kills. Clara Johnson had 10 digs and assisted on 42.
Worthington Kilbourne Tournament

Dublin Jerome 2, Highland 0
The Scots took their first two games at their weekend tournament at Worthington Kilbourne before falling in the final to Dublin Jerome.
In the opener, they beat Grove City, 25-13, 25-12, and were led by Kameron Stover's nine kills and Zoya Winklefoos' four service aces and six digs. In the semifinal match against W-K, the Lady Scots remained undefeated at 13-0 with a 2-1 win – 23-25, 25-20, 25-21 – to advance to the final.
In set one after being tied at 19-19, Kilbourne pulled away to win 25-23. Kameron Stover had seven kills of the team's 16 in the set. In the second set, the Scots jumped out to a 10-1 lead and led 18-8 before a run by the Wolves. The Scots still secured the set win. Brooke Schott and Kameron Stover combined for 11 kills in the set. In the deciding third set, the Scots led 7-3 and maintained a four- to five-point lead throughout the set, holding Kilbourne to one to two points at a time. The Scots had balance with 15 kills by five different players, three aces and a block. Kameron Stover finished with 19 kills and three blocks, Larsen Terrill had 38 assists. Brooke Schott had nine kills.
In the final, the Scots (13-1) suffered their first loss of the year. In set one, the Scots battled early, staying within two at 9-7, but the Celtics would extend their lead to 19-13, forcing the second Highland timeout. From there, Jerome finished off the set with a 6-1 run. It was a rather sloppy set, with each team's last five points scored on errors by the other team. The Scots could only muster six kills and an ace in the set. In set two, the Scots again battled, staying within a couple of points, and at 20-17, Jerome finished off the set and match with a 5-0 run. The offense was better with nine team kills in the set, and four aces by Brooke Schott, but Jerome helped them very little, allowing only three points by errors. Kameron Stover finished with seven kills for the Lady Scots and Brooke Scott had three kills and four aces.
