Fredericktown Tomato Show Parade set for Sept. 10

The theme for The Fredericktown Tomato Show Parade is “Step Back in Time.” The parade will begin at 12:30 p.m. 

The 1.7-mile parade route will be as follows: Police Department (the old Dana) down Miami Avenue, then north (right) on Columbus Road, to Main Street. The parade turns right on Main and returns to the Police Department.

Position assignments will be issued as you enter the parade staging area. Please be in your assigned position by noon.

Judging will take place during the parade. All entries will be judged as they pass by the judges, who will be positioned at the beginning of the parade route. No drive-through prejudging will take place this year. Parade awards will be distributed at the main stage of the Tomato Show approximately 1 hour after the end of the parade.

This is a family-oriented parade, so please use good judgment when designing your entry.

All entrants will receive a participation gift and prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
