ASHLAND – United Way of Ashland County approved the allocation committee's recommendation for Hospice of North Central (HNCO) 2023 program funding. $42,000 for bereavement services, comfort care and the Vigil Program.
Stacy Schiemann, executive director, said, “United Way of Ashland County is a proud funding partner of HNCO. The compassion and quality of services that they provide to their patients and clients and their family members during the most sensitive moments of their lives is unmatched in our region.”
The allocation committee evaluated applications on thoroughness, completeness and, most importantly, impact to the residents of Ashland County.
United Way of Ashland County is committed to fund programs in Ashland County that are critical to meeting the needs of its residents. Schiemann said United Way is thankful for the work that HNCO does to make sure that Ashland County is a healthy, strong community where families can thrive.
