ASHLAND – The trustees of the Milton R. & Beulah M. Young Foundation in Mansfield have approved a $5,000 grant in support of Hospice of North Central Ohio.
The grant will support and enhance end-of-life care through the funding of outreach Spanish Bibles, vital signs kits and magnifying lamps for hospice patients in HNCO’s care who reside in Richland County. The grant also includes funding for HNCO’s “Camp Hope” children’s bereavement camp.
Ralph Tomassi, HNCO chief development officer, said, “The Milton R. & Beulah M. Young Foundation gifts have and continue to provide 'The Margin of Excellence' for patients in our care and their families. HNCO is indeed grateful for the generous support we have received from the Young Foundation over the years.”
Established in 2000, the Milton R. & Beulah M. Young Foundation focuses its charitable support to nonprofit organizations in Richland and Ashland counties whose mission is to help individuals in need in the areas of health, education and welfare.
