20 KCCC students earn Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) certifications

20 Knox County Career Center (KCCC) students recently earned Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) certifications to help them embark on new careers in the IT field. 

According to a press release, the students earned the certificates after successfully completing courses offered by Computer Network Technology (CNT) programs at KCCC. While participating in the program, students learned to troubleshoot, repair and replace Cisco networking and system devices. The certification is a recognized credential by the Ohio Department of Education and the Information Technology (IT) industry.

KCCC also offers a Cisco Certified Technician Routing and Switching certification. Students of this program will learn the skills necessary to provide support and perform maintenance of Cisco routers, switches and operating environments. The CCT Routing and Switching certification is widely considered a necessary foundation for supporting Cisco systems and devices.

KCCC offers courses to earn recognized Cisco, CompTIA and Microsoft Certifications.
