A 26-year-old Centerburg man died March 19 when the truck he was driving overturned on Condit Road near Olive Green Road in Porter Township, the Ohio State Patrol said.
The driver, Christopher C. Thomas, was driving a 2020 Dodge Ram pickup, the patrol said.
"Mr. Thomas traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a mailbox post, a culvert and overturned several times," a news release said. "Mr. Thomas was pronounced deceased on scene."
Thomas was not wearing a safety belt, the patrol said.
The patrol was assisted at the scene by Delaware EMS, Porter Kingston Fire/EMS and Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, the news release said.
