FREDERICKTOWN – Celebrating their 50th anniversary March 17 this year are Don and Debbie Hawk.

Don and Debbie (Reed) Hawk were married on March 17, 1972, at the Fredericktown Baptist Church. Don had just returned from Vietnam and was on military leave. They married and when Debbie graduated in June she joined Don in Killeen, Texas, where he was stationed at Fort Hood. 

They have two children, Bill Hawk of Texas and Stephanie Cantrell of Marysville. They also are blessed with eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Don is retired from Cooper Energy Services and works part time for Boyd Brothers/B & B Farm Services. Debbie is retired from the Mount Vernon Development Center. 

A small family gathering is planned and then a relaxing vacation.
