Deputies have arrested 28-year-old Danial L Shahan of Howard as part of an investigation into the death of a 22-month-old child.
During the evening of Jan. 31, 2022, the child was brought to Knox Community Hospital by her mother and grandmother. The child was later transferred to a Columbus Hospital.
Detectives were notified Thursday afternoon of the child’s death. Shahan is currently being held in the Knox County Jail. The case remains under investigation
