As we finish up 2021, the Knox Public Health (KPH) team is grateful for the support provided to us by the Knox County community. Although the past 20-plus months have been some of the most challenging we have faced as an agency, we have persevered and believe we have successfully served our community.

KPH was put in the unpopular and unfortunate place during the COVID-19 pandemic of having to tell community members what they could and could not do; however, we always did that with the health and safety of all residents as a priority.

Knox County has suffered from this pandemic just as much as other communities. What has set us apart from other communities is the strength, courage and collaboration shown by our community residents and partners – and for that, KPH is extremely grateful.

On behalf of the Knox County Board of Health and all of our employees, we wish you, your friends and family, and our community a healthy, safe and happy holiday season. We look forward to serving and working with you in 2022.
