Come caroling with the Dogwood Blossoms Saturday, Dec. 11

Everyone of all ages and singing abilities is invited to join the Dogwood Blossoms on the Mount Vernon Square to sing some old fashion Christmas songs a cappella. The event happens on the Square, Saturday, Dec. 11, from 2-4 p.m.

"We will supply the words to the favorite songs of the season and you supply the voice," the Blossoms said in a press release. "Depending upon the group gathered we plan on splitting up and caroling down Main Street and ending up at the Woodward (107 South Main Street, Mount Vernon) by 4 p.m., where the Dogwood Blossoms will be preforming a few songs."

The Dogwood Blossoms, Sweet Adelines International is a women’s barbershop chapter, located in Knox County with members from all around who love to sing and perform their craft.

"It’s free and will be a fun time just getting out and singing … so, come join in the community caroling and enjoy spreading the Christmas cheer," the group said.
