Ohio Cardinal Conference officials have named their all-conference teams for several sports, and Mount Vernon student-athletes have received recognition and have been honored for their strong seasons. Nine Yellow Jacket girls were honored for their performances in volleyball and soccer, and four Yellow Jacket boys have been acknowledged for their work in soccer.
The 2021 OCC All Conference girls volleyball selections include:
Senior Emma Summerfield, first team; sophomore Jurnie Gleason and senior Maddie Sinsel, second team. Honorable mention selections include Yellow Jackets sophomore Tori Burdette and senior Lilly Erb .
Mount Vernon finished in second place with a 9-3 conference record.

Senior McKenna Brokaw, first team; senior Olivia Reddy, second team. Honorable mention selections include juniors Elizabeth Miller and Ella Conway.
Mount Vernon finished in a tie for sixth place with a 1-5 conference record.

Senior Jacob Deever, first team; junior Isaiah Jones, second team. Honorable mention selections include seniors Mays Gunderson and Andrew White.
