INVITATION TO BID
Sealed bids will be received by the Knox County Commissioners, as provided in this notice for the
Knox County - Courthouse ADA Ramp (the "Project"). Contract documents, which include
additional details of the Project, are on file at the office of MKC Architects, 161 North 4th Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Documents will be available beginning Monday, October 4, 2021.
The contract documents are available for purchase from RB Print Shop, Inc, 165 N Trimble Rd., Mansfield, Ohio 44906; www.rbprintshop.com beginning Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Knox County Commissioners Office, Attn: Jason Booth, County Administrator, 117 East High Street, Suite 161, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 and plainly marked on the outside "KNOX COUNTY -COURTHOUSE ADA RAMP BID." Bids will be received until 10:00 am, local time, October 26, 2021 and shortly thereafter opened and read.
Pre-Bid Meeting: All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 10:00 am, on site in the Knox County Courthouse, 111 East High Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Federal prevailing wage rates apply. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; the County reserves the right to waive in-egularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility.
