Hospice of North Central Ohio has been approved for a grant in the amount of $6,353.47 for the purchase of new medical training equipment. The grant received from The Lorain-Medina Rural Electric Cooperative People Fund will help HNCO preform annual education for new and seasoned hospice and palliative care nurses.
HNCO QAPI Manager Kim Knudson said, “Our caregivers are better equipped and trained to respond to the special needs of our patients as a result of the generous support we have received from the LMREC People Fund.”

As the area’s oldest and largest nonprofit hospice organization, Hospice of North Central Ohio has served thousands of families with compassionate end-of-life and palliative care, bereavement programs and services since 1988.
