Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect for Knox County July 7 until 9 p.m.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Knox and 35 other Ohio counties.

The watch lasts from 1:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. the evening of July 7, according to a statement from the NWS.

The following other counties are included: Allen, Ashland, Ashtabula, Crawford, Cuyahoga, Defiance, Erie,  Fulton,  Geauga, Hancock,  Henry, Holmes, Huron, Knox, Lake, Lorain, Lucas, Mahoning, Marion, Medina,  Morrow, Ottawa, Paulding, Portage, Putnam, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Van Wert, Wayne, Williams, Wood and Wyandot.
