CLEVELAND – A record total of 1,123 student-athletes were named to the 2020–21 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Academic Honor Roll following the completion of the academic year.
The honorees were selected from all 10 full-time NCAC institutions and one affiliate member. Each full-time institution had at least 45 student-athletes named to the Academic Honor Roll for an average of 111 student-athletes per school.
Kenyon College led the conference with 158 honorees.
To earn the honor, a student-athlete had to hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or better. That student-athlete also had to be at least of sophomore standing on an active roster in a sport sponsored by the conference.
Among all NCAC institutions, women's track and field student-athletes led the way for the eighth consecutive year with 131 total honorees, while women's soccer posted the second-highest total for the third year in a row with 111 student-athletes. Baseball was represented by 96 student-athletes for the third-most total, while men's track and field had 93 selections and football rounded out the top five with 92 honorees.
The 2020–21 NCAC Academic Honor Roll class features four graduate students, 286 seniors, 375 juniors and 468 sophomores.
