LAKEVILLE – Larry and Nancy (Chanay) Lorentz of Lakeville are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married on June 20, 1971, at Killbuck United Methodist Church by the Rev Neal Wilds.

Larry was a vo-ag teacher at Fredericktown High School from 1971–77 before he became a full-time farmer at their current residence, the Lovetts Corner Farm, where he is still actively involved. Nancy was a hairdresser, cake decorator and stay-at-home mom prior to spending 21 years as a bus driver at Kno-Ho-Co Head Start. She retired in 2014.

They have four children: Scott (Joann) Lorentz of Lakeville, Susan (Kenny) Young of Loudonville, Curt (Marcia) Lorentz of Lakeville and Keaton (Ella) Lorentz of Lakeville. Their children blessed them with ten grandchildren.

To celebrate this milestone, they will be attending an anniversary party with family and friends.
