TJ Thorpe Trucking rallied for five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat Precision Floors & Trim 9-6 in Mount Vernon City Coed Softball League play on Sunday, May 23, at Memorial Park.
Artie McAndrew had two hits with a home run to lead TJ Thorpe. Bryce Geiger, Rachel Goeppinger, Steve Stillwell, Ashley Beheler, Mike Patterson and Donnie McClary each had two hits as well. Geiger, Stillwell and Patterson each hit doubles.
Ashley Wyatt had three hits with a double and Reuben Keim also had three hits to pace Precision.
Cunningham Insurance 11, Elevate Insurance 10
Cunningham Insurance rallied for three runs in the sixth inning and two more in the seventh to come back from an early six-run deficit to beat Elevate Insurance 11-10 on Sunday.
Style Harper and Tony Shearer had three hits apiece to lead Cunningham. Shearer had three doubles, Harper added a double and Damian Lawson had two hits including a home run.
Mickey Altizer, Miranda Martindale, Noah Voss and Brandon Frye had three hits each for Elevate. Frye had a double and a triple, and Voss hit a triple along the way.
Melick Painting Company 7, Complete Comfort 6
Complete Comfort tied it up with a run in the sixth inning on Sunday, but Melick Painting Company won 7-6 on a walk-off the next inning.
Dylan Ware and Tim Garven had three hits each to lead Melick. Both hit doubles and Jim Stulka hit a home run.
Austin Pagani was a single away from hitting for the cycle for Complete Comfort.
Furry Tails 10, Melick Painting Company 9 (6)
Furry Trails won 10-9 over Melick on a walk-off in the sixth inning on Sunday.
Shelby Gonzalez and Tristen Caudill had four hits each to lead Furry Trails. Caudill and Billy Hankins each went deep.
Katie Mitchell and Sarah Pope had three hits apiece, and Dylan Ware added a home run for Melick.
A+ Autobrokers 11, Presley Construction 10 (6)
Presley Construction rallied for six runs in the top of the sixth to take the lead, but A+ Autobrokers recovered, scoring two runs to win 11-10 in a walk-off on Sunday.
Emily Murphy and Justin Parker had two hits each to lead A+. Parker hit a triple and a double, and Murphy added a double.
Dylan Colopy and Sammy Hunter had three hits each for Presley. Colopy and Jeremy Sesco each hit two doubles.
Team of Faith 8, Wedgewing Family Restaurant 6
Team of Faith scored four runs in the fifth inning and held off a late rally to beat Wedgewing Family Restaurant 8-6 on Sunday.
Matt Ott had four hits and Kenny Darr was a home run away from hitting for the cycle to lead Team of Faith.
John Riggins had three hits and Zack Verspor hit a home run for Wedgewing.
Buckeye Crane 11, Presley Construction 9
Buckeye Crane rallied for five runs in the sixth inning to get by Presley Construction 11-9 on Sunday.
Nelson Miller and Tyler Berger each hit home runs. Miller and Sam Yoder each had four hits to lead Buckeye. Miller added a double to his ledger.
Jason Stricker and Scott Presley had four hits apiece for Presley.
Buckeye Crane 15, Relentless Stealth Land Management 11
Buckeye Crane jumped out fast with nine runs in the first inning and held off Relentless Stealth Land Management in a 15-11 victory on Sunday.
Tyler Berger hit two home runs among three hits; and Owen Miller had four hits, including a pair of doubles, to lead Buckeye.
Colton Landis, Cayleb Cole and Haylie Landis had three hits each for Relentless. Colton Landis hit three bombs and Cole added a pair of doubles.
Liberty Lawn Care 13, J. Gorsuch Construction 6
Liberty Lawn Care used a four-run fourth inning to recover from an early deficit and went on to a 13-6 win over J. Gorsuch Construction on Sunday, May 23.
Nate Bolander hit for the cycle to lead Liberty.
Mike Blanchard hit a home run for J. Gorsuch.
A+ Autobrokers 12, Honey Buckets 7
A+ Autobrokers scored five runs in the first inning, which ended up being the difference in a 12-7 win over Honey Buckets on Sunday.
Dave Murphy, Taylynn Morningstar and Mike Harter had three hits each to lead A+. Murphy hit two doubles.
Katie Spearman, Mariah Pethal and Travis Born had three hits apiece for Honey Buckets. Spearman and Born each hit doubles and Ethan Abell hit a home run.
J. Gorsuch Construction 20, Precision Floors & Trim 13
J. Gorsuch took the lead with a six-run second and outslugged Precision in a 20-13 win on Sunday.
Cody Smith had four hits, including a home run and a double. Mike Blanchard also had four hits. Seth Oyster had three hits, including a homer and a double, to pace J. Gorsuch.
Kate Hernandez and Ray Hernandez had three hits apiece for Precision.
Bad Company 9, Elevate Insurance 2
Bad Company started fast with five runs in the first inning and three in the second and cruised to a 9-2 win over Elevate Insurance on Sunday.
Jordan Burson, Azzure Hall and Ben Metcalf had three hits apiece to lead Bad Company. Metcalf hit a home run, and Burson and Hall each hit doubles.
Kohl Parsons had three hits including a double to lead Elevate.
Furry Trails 15, Complete Comfort 7 (6)
Clinging to a one-run lead, Furry Trails erupted for seven runs in the sixth and final inning to defeat Complete Comfort 15-7 on Sunday.
Tristin Caudill and Josh McCurty had four hits each to pace Furry Trails. The duo each hit a triple and a double, Matt Brady added two doubles and a triple, and Scott Thompson hit a home run.
FitMix/CCL 21, Buckeye Crane 11 (6)
FitMix/CCL had a goose egg in the first inning but scored in every inning thereafter to roll to a 21-11 win in six innings over Buckeye Crane.
Travis Holdbrook and McKenna Montgomery had four hits each to lead FitMix. Montgomery had a pair of doubles and Travis Cornell added a home run.
Jared Stover went deep twice; and Nelson Miller, Grace Dunlap and Rachel Yoder had three hits each to pace Buckeye.
Liberty Lawn Care 13, Relentless Stealth Land Management 0 (5)
Liberty jumped on Relentless with five runs in the first inning and added four more in the second to cruise to a 13-0 win in five innings on Sunday.
Nate Bolander had three hits including a home run and Brooklyn Tipton had three hits with one double to pace Liberty.

TJ Thorpe used a 13-run second inning to run away from Fitmix/CCL in a 16-4 five-inning victory on Sunday.

Bad Company 17, Cunningham Insurance 5 (5)
Bad Company overcame a slow start, scoring six runs in the third inning, five in the fourth and five more in the fifth to roll to a 17-5 win in five innings over Cunningham Insurance on Sunday.
Jordan Burson had four hits with three doubles, and Justin Shaw and Kirsten Skoog added three hits apiece to lead Bad Company. Shaw had two doubles and Shawn Maxwell added a home run.
Mark Poland and Style Harper had two hits each for Cunningham. Poland hit a homer and a double, and Harper had a double.
FitMix/CCL 29, Complete Comfort 9 (5)
What’s better than one 11-run inning? Two 11-run innings. FitMix scored 11 in the first and came back with 11 more in the second to roll to a 29-9 win over Complete Comfort on Sunday.
Jeff Holdbrook, Travis Cornell and Travis Holdbrook had four hits each for FitMix, which had 34 hits as a team. Cornell hit a home run and Travis Holdbrook doubled twice.
Michael Vilfer and Josh Edwards had three hits apiece to lead Complete Comfort. Edwards hit two doubles.
J. Gorsuch Construction 17, Team of Faith 5 (5)
J. Gorsuch jumped out to an early 2-0 lead after one inning, but a nine-run second blew the game open in a 17-5 win in five innings over Team of Faith on Sunday.
Luke Yetzer and Breezy Newell each hit home runs. Yetzer led J. Gorsuch with four hits.
Taylor Breighner had three hits, including a pair of doubles, to pace Team of Faith.
Honey Buckets 18, Wedgewing Family Restaurant 2 (5)
Honey Buckets scored in every inning to cruise to an 18-2 win in five innings over Wedgewing on Sunday.
Tommy Stevison hit two home runs, and Nate Davis and Katie Spearman had four hits each to pace Honey Buckets. Davis hit a home run and a triple.
Zack Verspor had two hits for Wedgewing.
