UTICA – Edith “Jeannie” Fairall, 75, of Utica, passed away on Jan. 16, 2021, at the Selma Markowitz Center in Newark. She was born on Aug. 16, 1945, in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late Basil Isaac and Dorothy (Thompson) Cole.
Jeannie worked for several years at Eastern Star in Mount Vernon. She was a member of the Martinsburg Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dale Fairall; sons, Lonnie and Doug Fairall; grandchildren, Logan and Morgan Fairall; aunt and uncles, Jean and Jim Moncus, and Billy Joe Thompson; sister-in-law, Sandy Williams; and very special friends, Mary Jo Grant and Ruthie Summers.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother-in-law, Dean Williams.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Frazeysburg Cemetery with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating.
