MOUNT VERNON – Annette L. Levers, 82, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021, at Brookdale Senior Living. She was born on Sept. 22, 1938, in Mount Vernon to Clinton and Beulah (Michaux) Burris.
Annette was a 1956 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and married the love of her life, Wayne, in June 1956. Her first love was for her family. Being a wife and homemaker were her priorities. She enjoyed going to Amish Country, going out to eat and working puzzles. She was a lover of animals, especially her own dogs, Bumper, Brandy and Bailey. Annette was also an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Kim (Bill) Horn and Tiffany (Kevin) Quebedo, both of Mount Vernon; two granddaughters, Alisson (Beth) Marti and Ashley (Cody) Bundy; grandson, Adam (Angela) Horn; great-grandsons, RW Joris and Parker Bundy; and great-granddaughters, Ellie Joris, Abby Horn and Sophie Bundy.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne Levers in 2016; a daughter, Michelle Levers in 1963; and a brother, Phil Burris.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 11, at the Lasater Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the start of the funeral at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Mound View Cemetery.
