FREDERICKTOWN – Frances Joy (Hibbitts) Baker, of Fredericktown, ended her long struggle with COVID-19 complications on Dec. 25, 2020, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born on Dec. 28, 1942, in Canton, and was a 1960 graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School.
Frances is survived by her brother, Frank (Jan) Hibbitts of Tyler, Texas; Dee Garrison of Beach City; sons, Todd (Sue) Mizer and Shan (Natalie) Mizer, both of Fredericktown; and daughter, Michelle Mizer of Dover.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson E. Baker of Fredericktown; father, Walter Hibbitts of Bolivar; and mother, Frances (Grossenbacher) Hibbitts of Strasburg.
The family will observe a private service at a later date.
