Duke and Tucker are a pair of brothers.
You won’t find a more loving connection between siblings than these too. Both are owned by Lexi and Eric Finger of Mount Vernon.
Duke was adopted from Planned Pethood in Toledo when he was 8 weeks old now. He is 6 1/2 years old. Recently, Duke had to have a tumor removed. Prayers were answered when the results came back that it was benign.
Tucker, who will soon be turning 5, was adopted the day after Christmas from a pregnant homeless woman. One of her family members reached out to the Fingers and shortly after they adopted him.
Their favorite things to do are going for walks in downtown Mount Vernon around the dog fountain, playing in the backyard and, of course, coming to their spa day every 6 weeks.
When the boys visit the spa, they always get a good bubble bath along with a nail filing, de-shedding treatment, gland expression, ear cleaning and tooth brushing.
These two characters are so attached that they have to be out for grooming at the same time as they argue just like brothers for attention. When one is on the table, the other has to be on the table with him.
If everyone had a pet as wonderful as these boys no doubt the world would be a better place. Stay tuned for next week's pet of the week.
