HOWARD – Anna Jeanette Hans, 82, of Howard, died on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Aug. 9, 1938, in Newcastle, to William and Nellie Randles.
Jeanette graduated from Danville High School in 1956.
She married Dale Hans on Aug. 19, 1956.
Jeanette was a waitress at many local restaurants. She loved bowling, gardening and cooking; but she always put her family first.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Dale, of Howard; her children, Dalene Thompson, Jacqueline (John) Packard, Michael Hans and James (Shelly) Hans; grandchildren, Melissa (Josh), Amanda (Vinny), John, Justin and Amy; great-grandchildren, Kayden, Giavanna, Keagan, Gabriella, Kyson, Giavanni, Jayda, Blake, Katie and Maddie Jo.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and great-grandson, Cole.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home - Mount Vernon Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
