East Knox students are holding a toy drive to give area children in foster care a better Christmas, and they need community members to help make it happen.
Students in Wess McKown’s East Knox Current Events Class have partnered with The Village Network of Knox County and House of New Hope in Licking County, according to the event flyer.
New toys in original packaging, appropriate for ages from newborn through high school, can be dropped off at the East Knox Junior-Senior High School between 7:45 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. on school days through Tuesday, Dec. 1. Monetary donations are also being accepted, and checks can be made out to East Knox Athletic Boosters, who are managing funds for the toy drive and will write a single check at the end of the drive.
Donations can also be made at Central Christian Church and Storyside Church before and after services.
