It’s all about eyes in 2020, and some trends reported by the top glamour magazines include some unconventional and daring embellishments to highlight them.

Harper’s Bazaar reported that artist eyes are all the rage this fall, with eyeliners in an array of colors. In addition, decals or crystal embellishments on the eyes or the cheekbones are the "in" trend.

Wearing extra eyeliner is also in fashion to highlight the only facial aspect seen while wearing a mask as per COVID-19 protocols.

Bright red lipstick is also another trend this fall, as is a “fresh-faced radiance” as opposed to shiny cheekbones, Harper’s reported.

For a facial glow during the winter months when skin could use a pickup, Cosmopolitan Magazine recommends a highlighter on the cheekbones, brow bones and Cupid’s bow to give skin a glow.

It’s all about color in makeup this fall. Whether it be white or orange eyeliner, or blue or pink eyeshadow, it’s time to tone up the makeup, Cosmopolitan said. Also, two-toned eyeshadows are trendy. Even black mascara is being replaced by colored mascaras this fall to make the most of the eyes.

Glossy lips are also the new trend for 2020 as opposed to the matte finish of previous years, Cosmopolitan said.

This fall, it's all about experimenting and digging into your makeup bag to try different colors.

InStyle Magazine featured eight must-have looks this fall which included the blue eyeshadow and red lips other beauty magazines featured. In addition, the magazine featured Disco Ball Eyes and Watercolor Eyes that gave the models' eyes a unique look.

Focusing on eyebrows is another trend this fall. Cosmopolitan recommends brows that are "structured and polished" because the busy brows are not the "in" trend. To accomplish the polished look the magazine recommends using a clear brow gel.

But InStyle points out that because getting brows waxed and plucked has been difficult for some since the spring, it's time to "embrace your now fuller, fluffier brows." The magazine recommends a brow gel to build density on the brows that appears like real hairs.

Another style this fall is floating eyeliner, because InStyle notes that eyeliner doesn't only need to be used for lash lines. Instead, you can add a line above the crease of your eye and below the lower lash line for a cat-eye look. The magazine recommends a creamy gel formula that glides on and doesn't smudge or flake. It also comes in an array of colors.
